R.I.P.

(The Admiral is the
second hermie from the right)
"The
Admiral"
Adopted on March 21, 2003
Died on April 1, 2003
The Admiral was
named after the future hall-of-fame basketball player, David Robinson,
of the San Antonio Spurs. He was our largest hermit crab who decided
to move into a shell that was way to small for him. He couldn't
retract his legs or bp claw into the shell. The Admiral died from
PPS (Post Purchase Stress).
"Franken
Doodlebob"
Adopted on March 2, 2003
Died on April 21, 2003
Franken Doodlebob
was named for the doodle character Spongebob Squarepants drew that
magically came to life. We "rescued" Doodlebob from the
bad conditions at a major pet store chain. He was missing two legs
and seemed very sick and lethargic. Doodlebob's other "rescue"
brothers and sisters are doing great after recovering and are now
living in the main crabitat. After living in the isolation unit
for seven weeks, Doodlebob died.
"Fujiiro"
Adopted on September 14, 2003
Died on September 25, 2003
Fujiiro means
"light purple" in Japanese. He was a rare exotic coenobita
brevimanus that are hard to find in the United States. Fujiiro died
from Post Purchase Stress (PPS).
